Support Coordination is a valuable resource for NDIS participants as it can connect you with a variety of supports to help increase capacity and achieve NDIS goals.

In this webinar we talk with our expert Kinora providers about support coordination, the different levels of support coordination that exist and what documentation might be needed to have support coordination included in your NDIS plan.

KEY POINTS:

- Support coordination is not automatically included in your NDIS plan. You will need to apply and request for this type of funding to be given, ideally at your first planning meeting.

- The aim of a support coordinator is to build capacity and help you understand/ coordinate your NDIS plan ultimately independently and without the help of a support coordinator.

- There are three levels of support coordination. The highest level of support coordination - level 3 or specialist support coordinators should have clinical experience
